Well, last night was like our normal Monday schedule. I have Liam till 8, then he is off to bed, and I am off the gym. I met Steve there around 8, and chest day was on. I warmed up with 135, and honestly, I wasn't very optimistic about my bench after that set. When all was said and done though, I increased my weight by 10 pounds from last week, and put up 245 once, on my last set. So I was very happy. We did dips next, and both of us went up in weight, Steve did a plate, and I did 55lbs. We finished up with inclines (because of time constraints), and my weight suffered a bit from pushing my bench, and doing dips before inclines this week. I was pretty happy with my progress right now, and I am looking forward to seeing where I stand with everyone else that is playing.
This morning, Brandon and I did our usual skill work. I loosened up my hamstring pretty good, and was able to run about 80%. I really need to get a long stretching session in before I end up really hurting myself. That is on the agenda :-). I'd really like to discuss equipment with someone, so if anyone has any tips on shoes, gloves, or any other training equipment, please feel free to shoot me a message.
